The Interior Technology Industry Association (ITIA), is a non-profit member driven organization whose mission is to facilitate the development of the BC Interior region into a globally competitive centre of excellence for “high-tech” companies through business development, promotion, networking, partnerships and by acting as a representative and advocate for its technology business members.

operating in partnership with the Interior Science and Innovation Council (ISIC) all hightech ITIA members are automatically enrolled as members of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCITIA)
helping to create better access to human resources by working in partnership with educational institutions and government organizations in order to represent members at various immigration tradeshows and employment / career fairs
 
facilitating and promoting opportunities for job shadowing, internships, co-op employment placements, guest lecturing, and career mentorship for students in post-secondary, secondary and elementary programs.
 
facilitating and promoting opportunities for joint projects and research between business members and students in technology related programs as well as business, journalism and other media related programs
 
promotion of the ITIA and its members on the post-secondary campus in an ongoing effort to encourage a strong awareness of the technology industry within the BC interior and career opportunities with business members
specialized high-tech business mentorship and coaching
 
seminars and workshops for managing and growing high-tech businesses and professional development
 
advice and assistance with accessing capital, human resources, promotion, and R&D
